New British Orienteering promotional video features maps used at an MVOC event
Can you find the map and locate it in the video? Clue: “You will!”
The message of the video is close to most orienteers’ hearts: you choose your own route. And that’s what makes it engaging, time after time.
Feel inspired? Join Mole Valley Orienteering Club for:
- Street orienteering on simplified maps, going only as far or as fast as you want in an hour
- Urban events may sound the same, but have a “proper” orienteering map. Still (mostly) on streets
- Ready to step it up a level? Park races, typically in the summer, get you off paths, but still in familiar parklands.
- The classic: forest orienteering. Throughout the year, though mostly autumn to spring.
- For the really adventurous: night orienteering in the forest!
