Several Moles made the journey to south Wales for the British Long Distance Championships on Saturday 28th February. The event was held on Carreg Goch, a high open fellside/moor. The following day, Sunday 1 March, was the British Relay Championships held at Margam Country Park. MV fielded three teams:
- “Happy Moles” Theo (HH), Ben and Hugh (MV) – M14 – alliance team
- “MV Scarbroughs” (Ralph, Sarah Scarbrough, Tim Scarbrough) – Men’s Short
- “MV Black Velvet” (Liz Seaston, Mike Elliot, Philip Gristwood) – M/W70
