Many thanks indeed to James Fraser for organising a snooker themed orienteering on Thu 19th June for the first event in our 2025 summer series – and producing a great map. It was a very hot evening and his safety play was excellent: checking everyone waiting in the cue to start was hydrated beforehand. Balls were being potted all over Epsom with great positional play. A few fouls were committed – possibly some got snookered – but no-one went in-off. Some had to use the rest because of the heat. A few struggled with control #50, but they were the wrong side of the blue!
