Mole Valley’s Ralph (M14) has been selected as one of the top 24 second year M/W14s in the UK to attend the week-long training camp at Lagganlia near Aviemore in Scotland in July 2025. This comes after he’s posted gold/championship qualifying times at two of the major events designated as selection races. The Junior Regional Orienteering Squads (JROS) organise the training camp every year
Selections across the regions have been published at the link below. The clubs of the South East Orienteering are particularly well represented, making up one quarter of the athletes selected! This goes to show the standard needed, as the prioritisation rules for selection are initially two athletes per Region achieving the qualifying standard.
