The club are hosting a number of events/activities over the coming month, so why not join us at one or all of these.
Firstly, we have a Street Orienteering event at Weybridge on Tuesday (19th Nov). The event centre is at the Hand & Spear pub very near to Weybridge station. More details are here, and entries can be made here
Then on Saturday (23rd Nov), we are jointly hosting (with Guildford Orienteers) a training event at Norbury Park near Leathehead. This is great opportunity for beginners and orienteers who want to improve their skills. More details here and entries can be made here
The next event in the Winter Street orienteering series is at Ashtead on Tuesday 10th December. This one is a bit different as it will be a ‘spiral score event’ where participants visit controls in order (in a spiral), collecting points, and then have to judge when to get off the spiral and return to the finish within the time limit before penalties apply. Finally, we have our festive event at Reigate Priory Park on Sunday 15th December. this is a regional event, and one of the biggest events we host each year.
