SEOUL urban at Dorking

This is a Southern England Orienteering Urban League (SEOUL) event based in the medieval market town of Dorking, situated within the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty

Seniors £10, Juniors (u21) and Students £4 by 18th August.
Seniors £12, Juniors / Students £6 between 19th & 23rd August. Entry on day (subject to map availability, payment by card only). £2 surcharge for non-BOF Seniors. SI-Card hire £1 (lost units £30) or contactless SIAC hire £2.50 (lost units £65).
Event Centre: Surrey FA, Meadowbank Football Ground, Mill Lane, Dorking. RH4 1DX
Offering: toilets; water; registration and download; bag store. Free parking in adjacent multi-tier car park. 1.4km walk from Dorking and Deepdene train stations, 0.65km from Dorking West station
Map: New 1: 4000 map by Mike Elliot updated 2024, overprinted and waterproof. Possible larger scale map for some shorter courses to be confirmed in Final Details.
Courses: Contactless SI electronic punching will be available. “Provisional” straight line lengths (based on a previous event) & subject to final controlling. The actual course lengths will be confirmed in Final Details in due course. Expect to run 30-40% further:
1 – 8.5km Mens Open
2 – 7.4km Women’s Open, Mens Veterans (40+)
3 – 6.2km Women’s Veterans (40+), Men’s Super Veterans (55+)
4 – 4.6km Women’s Super Veterans (55+), Men’s Ultra Veterans (65+)
5 – 3.6km Women’s Ultra Veterans (65+), Women’s / Men’s Hyper Veterans (75+)
6 – 2.9km Men’s Junior (16-), Women’s Junior (16-)
7 – 2.0km Men’s Young Junior (12-), Women’s Young Junior (12-)
Courses 6 and 7 will be within Meadowbank Park and traffic free thoroughfares with no road crossings.

Starts: 10:30 to 12:30. Start a short walk from Event Centre. Finish in Meadowbank Park.
Results: Provisional live via QR code on splits printout and final on mvoc.org soon after the event.
