MV/GO Training Activity: Nonsuch Park

We will be providing courses for newcomers to try orienteering and there will be volunteers to help learn how to use an orienteering map to navigate around a course.

For improvers there will be an opportunity to practice visualizing control sites, understanding ‘control descriptions’ and going to exactly the correct part of the feature.

Please make sure that you come wearing shoes suitable for running off-road, full leg cover (NOT SHORTS!) and a compass and ‘dibber’ if you have them – they will be available to borrow if required. Bring your own lunch and plenty to drink.
