DESCRIPTION:Join us for an evening’s orienteering in Cheam Park and Nonsuch Park\, former deer hunting park established by Henry VIII. Food and route comparison in the Ye Olde Red Lion afterwards! Part of the London Park Race series\, with weekly orienteering on Tuesdays between May and July – full details here. \n\n\n\n\nCourses \n\n\nLong (approx. 5km)\, Short (approx. 3km) \n\n\n\nVenue \n\n\nBag drop (items left at your own risk)\, download and food/refreshments at Ye Olde Red Lion Pub\, 17 Park Road\, Cheam\, SM3 8QB \nStart tapes from the pub – Start location is what.3.words ///doctor.adjust.looked – you can go straight to the Start if you do not require bag drop or SI-hire but everyone MUST return to the pub after your run to Download. \n\n\n\n\nPublic Transport \n\n\nPub is a 12-minute walk from Cheam Station\, with regular trains from London Victoria. Or the pub is on Bus routes 151\, 213 and SL7 \n\n\n\n\nDriving \n\n\nCar parking opposite pub at Cheam Library Car Park\, SM3 8QH – evening ticket purchase after 6:30pm is £1.50\, before 6:30pm is £4 for 2 hours – cash or Ringo \n\n\n\n\nMap \n\n\nScale 1:10\,000 \n\n\n\n\nStarts \n\n\nStarts 6:15pm – 7:30pm. Course closing time 8:15pm \n\n\n\n\nFees \n\n\nPre-entry via Race Sign Up. British Orienteering Senior Members £6\, Junior Members £3; non-members: senior £8\, juniors £5. \nThe event will be using Sport Ident electronic punching (hire charge £2).
