A NOTE FROM THE SERIES COORDINATOR
The weather throughout the series was great, from summer sun at Epsom, Indian summer at Horton North, autumn wind at Nonsuch and autumn gold at Horton South – we couldn’t have asked for better.

The Moles behind the scenes need congratulating, for well-planned and exciting courses, for efficient helping and for the smooth running of the events. Of special note are the planners – Chris MacDonald (Epsom), Jackie Olive (Horton North), Bill Alexander (Nonsuch), George Engelhardt (Horton South) – thank you and well done.

Also part of the team but behind the scenes are Sandra Vogel (web and electronics), Tony Burton (Controller), John Davies (Controller), Mark Rowe (Finish and Permissions). Thanks to all those who helped at the events – with over 25 Moles on the results sheet there are too many to thank individually.

The series attracted over 115 runners, who completed over 160 runs – but there were only two runners who managed to attend all four events (Maurice Dunnett and Peter Martin). In all there were 26 independents in the final results.

Please look out for our next event in December at Headley Heath  - we will certainly look forward to seeing you.

Hugh Walker - Saturday Series Coordinator
