Planner's Comments
It was good to see so many runners turn up for the final and decisive Frolics event of the summer.  The down side was that we had underestimated the number of maps.  Apologies to those who had to run on recycled maps.  I hope that it didn’t spoil your enjoyment of the event.

Apologies also for the last minute switch in venue, which was caused by our inability to get permission to use Ashtead and Epsom Commons.  It turns out that this area can only be used for orienteering in the winter.  In fact, I believe that Nonsuch Park was a better choice given the heavily over-grown state of Ashtead.  Although technically not very challenging, Nonsuch does permit fast, straight running in a genuine park environment, and as it happens in sunshine, which is more in keeping with the spirit of Frolics.

Congratulations to SLOW who won this event.
